KL Pony Club is holding its first Pony Club Rally of the year in the afternoon of Sunday 19th March 2023 at the Kuala Lumpur Polo Club. 

This is a 2-hour Pony Club Dismounted Rally, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  The Pony Clubbers will learn about horsemanship – Caring for your Pony, from instructors Chris Ladbrook and Ali Akbar.  This is work towards a mini achievement badge, one of many such badges that can be earned from the KL Pony Cub.

The KL Pony Club is affiliated to The Pony Club (UK), which is one of the largest youth organizations in the world.  Our affiliation means that if a rider becomes a KL Pony Club member, their membership is part of this worldwide organization.  Whatever Pony Club Badges and Tests they pass would be recognised by any other Pony Club in the world.  Some tests are taken as prior learning in certificate programs in other professional bodies, such as the British Horse Society.

An exciting line-up of KL Pony Club events is planned for the year.  Some are 3-day sports camps, or one or two day Rallies.  A total of 10 events are planned for 2023.  Here is the KL Pony Club Calendar for the year.

Kuala Lumpur Academy of Polo is a company that specializes in high quality polo coaching in Malaysia. The KL Academy of Polo (KLAP) is based at the Kuala Lumpur Polo Club (formerly known as The Royal Selangor Polo Club), in Ampang, down-town Kuala Lumpur, and runs its riding and polo schools.
