The 1st Malaysia Youth Polo Tournament, held on 5th and 6th March 2022,  was recognised by the Federation of International Polo and the Malaysia Book of Records as the first youth polo tournament to be held in Malaysia.

Eighteen youths of under 21 years old played in this youth tournament, organised by the Kuala Lumpur Academy of Polo, and played at The Selangor Polo Club.

Those players were:

BLUE SIBERIANS: Arman Moiz, Mohd Alif Ashraf, Tengku Putra Arjuna, Wan Mohammad Mukhriz.

RED BENGALS: Ahmad Basir An Nur, Marie Christine Fuchs, Raphael Azman, Muhammad Faiz Rizqy.

INDOCHINESE GREYS: Ananya Kannan, Julian Lancia, Raja Ken.

MALAYAN TIGERS: Wan Muhammad Muizren, Nala Bosveld, Kabir Kannan, Imran Moiz.

PINK SUMATRANS: Nik Amar Amsyar, Suleiman Moiz, Amirul Aimann.

Kuala Lumpur Academy of Polo is very proud to have created history in organising the first ever youth polo tournament to be played in Malaysia.
