KL Academy of Polo is conducting an Introduction to Riding Clinic on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June 2019 at the Royal Selangor Polo Club.  It is aimed at first time riders, to give them a touch and feel of the sport.

This is a two-day clinic to introduce kids and first timers to riding.   The clinic will run over 3-hours each day from 9 A.M. to 12 noon.  In addition to learning to ride, participants will learn how to handle, lead and groom horses.  There will also be a talk on feeding and nutrition for horses.

No prior riding experience is necessary.

This clinic is conducted by certified riding instructors.  The riding school horses are kind and gentle polo ponies and Criollos from Argentina, and warmbloods.

Participants should come dressed in breeches, stretch jeans or leggings, and wear jodhpur boots or shoes with heels. Please bring your own riding or cycling helmet if you have one.  Otherwise, we have a selection of helmets to choose from.

The clinic is open to the public.  The cost is RM1,200 for this two-day clinic, which includes lunch each day.  Each clinic participant will also receive a commemorative gift and a certificate of participation.
