Coronavirus (COVID-19) Guidelines

Further to our initial guidelines, KL Academy of Polo would like to update the guidelines in order to protect our riders, staff, families and members:

  1. All riders who have travelled to mainland China, South Korea, Italy, Iran or Japan, any time after 1st March 2020 must refrain from participation in all KL Academy of Polo activities for 14 days. This means they may not attend any lessons. The 14 days begin on the day the rider returned to Malaysia.
  1. All riders who have family members living in their household who have travelled specifically to or from Hubei province any time after January 13 must remain home until at least two weeks after that family member arrived home and has shown no signs of fever or respiratory illness.
  1. Any riders who have not travelled to these countries but have travelled to other countries outside of Malaysia after January 13 and who also exhibit symptoms of a respiratory illness (e.g., cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever, difficulty breathing) must receive a clearance from a doctor before returning to any KL Academy of Polo activities or lessons.
  1. Any rider who has a fever or feels unwell during a lesson should inform the instructor and stop riding immediately.  The rider should see a doctor immediately.  If the rider has not travelled in the last two weeks, the rider may return to lessons after being fever-free/symptom-free for 48 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s health, please seek advice from your family doctor.
  1. Parents, please notify our office if any of the above limitations apply to your child. This information will be kept confidential and will help us to be proactive as our response to this situation continues to evolve.

KL Academy of Polo trusts that you understand the need for these health safety measures. We thank you for your support and cooperation.
