Further to our announcement yesterday of Covid-19 Precautions, and in the light of the movement control order by the government of Malaysia, KL Academy of Polo, in conjunction with the Royal Selangor Polo Club, is suspending all riding and polo lessons for the period 18th to 31st March 2020.

The Training Show that had been scheduled for Sunday 22nd March is also postponed. We will advise you of a new date as soon as it is set.

Your riding lesson credits will be carried over, and no credits will be lost during this period.

During this fortnight of lesson inactivity, KL Academy of Polo will continue to look after the welfare of our horses and staff. The horses will have a well earned rest, with a rotation of paddock time and light exercise, to be ridden only by our staff.

As planned, our staff and instructors who will still be working, will have their temperatures checked twice daily at the start of shifts. All movements will be registered for tracking purposes.

KL Academy of Polo will be disinfecting the main surfaces of our office, tack rooms and common areas, door knobs and equipment on a regular basis. We will be using a powerful microbacterial and virucidal disinfectant that is available from Zack’s Tack.

Nevertheless, for your own health and in respect of this social distancing order, we ask that you do not visit our stables during this period.
