The Kuala Lumpur Academy of Polo is offering two Introduction to Riding courses at The Selangor Polo Club in June and July 2022.  This course is a 16-lesson package of lessons designed to start off a newbie in horseback riding. 

In this 16-lesson course, participants will have an opportunity to learn:

• Safety around horses
• How to lead a horse
• How to mount and dismount from a horse
• Lead-Rein Lesson
• Beginner Riding Lessons at walk and trot

Introduction to Riding is taught by Level 1 instructors accredited with the Malaysian Equine Council.  Riders will have the opportunity of learning to ride on Criollo horses specially imported from Argentina.

Cost is RM2,500 for this 16-lesson package.

• This is a fixed date course per the schedules below.
• Places are limited to a maximum of six riders per group.
• Members and children of members of The Selangor Polo Club receive a RM500 discount.
• Group Personal Accident Insurance is available as an add-on and is highly recommended.
• Riders who do not have their own riding gear will receive a 15% discount voucher to buy a helmet, riding jeans or breeches, mini chaps and jodhpur boots from Zack’s Tack Sdn Bhd.

• Upon successful completion of the course, riders will each receive a diploma.
